Think Write!

Schedules, Workshops, Tutoring, Etc.

Think Write runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays in one to three hour sessions. Come to all or a particular set of sessions, pay for four classes at once or just one (the introductory session is free!). At the moment, I am available for workshops or tutoring from 9am until 3pm at $15/hr on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from June 2nd until August 31st. General workshops run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10-11am.
E-mail me at blucey@bates.edu to request certain dates or ask for certain slots over the summer and I will begin organizing accordingly. Check back on the homepage of Think Write for a table of schedules and progress reports for different workshops.
There are really no limits to the number or age of the writers who want to attend certain times and workshops as long as the slot hasn't already been taken. If your writer would most benefit from a one-on-one session, I will gladly accommodate you. Likewise, I could run a workshop upwards of ten writers. The curriculum is very flexible. I can teach academic writing or creative writing, depending on the preferences. If nothing is specified, I will be teaching both, with a focus on creative writing. Luckily, the two often go hand-in-hand.
Think Write will be meeting at Newburyport's Jabberwocky Bookstore in the Tannery, in the Green Room. That's the room with all the used books, with windows that look into the rest of the Tannery.

E-mail me at blucey@bates.edu for any other questions about scheduling or the curriculum. If you are positive you or a writer you know would like to participate in Think Write, we can start arranging time slots. The first hour will be totally free!
